This strategy acts like a market weather system. It mainly watches QQQ (big U.S. growth/tech stocks) and asks: Is the market unusually wild, badly beaten down, overheated, or acting normally? Based on that, it shifts among aggressive stock funds, defensive funds like utilities and bonds, or cash-like Treasury bills. It also compares corporate bonds (CORP) with T-bills (BIL) to judge whether investors are comfortable taking risk or prefer safety.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
