About

A rules-based rotation seeking smooth, risk-adjusted returns. Quick overlays handle panics and extremes; the core 2x2 uses QQQ vs VPU and CORP vs BIL to choose diversified mixes of growth, defensives, bonds, gold, and hedges, avoiding big short bets.
NutHow it works
Two layers. 1) Quick layer: if the Nasdaq (QQQ) gets jumpy or extreme, it briefly shifts to safe, liquid ETFs (Treasuries, cash-like, USD, gold) or takes small bounce/hedge trades. 2) Core 2x2: compares growth stocks (QQQ) vs utilities (VPU) and corporate bonds (CORP) vs T‑bills (BIL) to pick one of four diversified baskets. RSI is a 0–100 “heat” score of recent buying vs selling.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers higher upside with controlled drawdown vs the S&P: annualized return 23.07% vs 19.12%, max drawdown 17.86% vs 18.76%, and Calmar ~1.29. Diversified, liquid rotations aim for steadier, stronger gains.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
