About
A daily, rules-based portfolio that rides Nasdaq/S&P uptrends with leveraged ETFs, buys select dips, and quickly hedges into inverse ETFs, volatility, oil, or bonds to limit big drawdowns.
Your money is split daily: 20% S&P stock picks, 50% Nasdaq-focused engines, 30% oil/bonds.
Trend filter (price vs 200-day average) decides risk-on/off. RSI (0–100 heat gauge) guides dip-buys (low) or hedges (high). In uptrends it favors TQQQ/tech; when overheated or weak it flips to SQQQ/UVXY/bonds. Oil is held when its 1‑month trend is up; else short-term bonds.
Out-of-sample, this strategy beats the S&P on risk-adjusted return: Sharpe ~2.96 vs 2.72; annualized return ~60% vs 36%, Calmar ~6.23. Diversified hedges help capture Nasdaq upside while limiting big losses.
