About

An aggressive, highly active “risk‑on/risk‑off” system: buy 3x Nasdaq/S&P dips in uptrends; hedge or step aside when markets overheat; rotate to cash, Treasuries, gold, the dollar, and defensive sectors in risk‑off. Uses RSI, trends, and drawdowns.
NutHow it works
This is a fast “offense/defense” system. It reads trend (price vs averages), stress (drawdowns/vol), and a hot/cold meter (RSI). In healthy trends it buys dips in growth via 3x funds like TQQQ/UPRO/TECL/SOXL. When too hot (RSI ~80–95) it hedges with volatility (UVXY/VIXM) or holds cash‑like BIL/SHV. When weak, it rotates to GLD, UUP, Treasuries (TLT/TMF/SHY) and defensive sectors (XLP). Some sleeves pick recent winners and size by risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge vs the S&P 500: 24.38% annualized return with only 11.74% max drawdown (vs SPY’s 18.76%); Sharpe 1.49 vs 1.19; Calmar 2.08. Higher risk-adjusted growth and tighter downside control.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
