About

Rules-based swing strategy that rotates among 3× tech/semis/biotech ETFs, volatility funds (UVXY/SVXY), bonds (TLT/TMF/TMV), gold, cash, EEM/EUM, and a few stocks using hot/cold readings (RSI), trend checks, and a KMLM trend signal. Very active and high risk.
NutHow it works
Daily, it checks “heat” (RSI = a 0–100 hot/cold score: >80 very hot, <30 very cold) and simple trend lines. • Cold tech/semis: buy the weakest 3× bull (TECL/SOXL/LABU). • Very hot: switch to a strong 3× bear (TECS/SOXS/FNGD) or to volatility (UVXY/VIXM); sometimes short vol (SVXY). • KMLM (managed‑futures trend) helps choose risk‑on vs T‑Bills (BIL). • Side sleeves trade EEM/EUM and TLT/TMF/TMV. Fallbacks: gold/cash/Costco.
CheckmarkValue prop
Diversified, rules-based swing strategy with low market beta (~0.43) and positive out-of-sample alpha. Delivers strong risk-adjusted returns (Calmar ≈4.15) via regime hedges (volatility, managed futures, bonds, gold) that complement SPY.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
