About

Daily system that buys oversold 3x tech/semis for bounces, shorts or hedges when markets run too hot, and parks in cash/bonds/gold when unclear. Uses KMLM (managed‑futures ETF) as a regime health check, plus small EM and Treasury momentum tilts.
NutHow it works
It’s a daily, rules-based trader that reads “temperature” with RSI (a 0–100 gauge of how fast price has moved: high=hot, low=cold). - If markets are red‑hot (RSI ~80+ on SPY/QQQ/IOO), it hedges or bets on a pullback with volatility funds (UVXY/VIXM) or inverse tech (TECS/SOXS/FNGD). - If growth areas are washed‑out (RSI ~30 or lower), it buys the most beaten 3x bull ETFs (SOXL/TECL/FNGG; sometimes LABU) for rebounds, chosen via short‑term leader/laggard sorts. - If signals conflict, it parks in T‑Bills (BIL/SHV), gold (GLD), or Treasury trades (TMF/TMV). - A small sleeve uses KMLM (a managed‑futures trend ETF) as a risk health check; if trend is solid and semis lead, it holds SVXY; else cash. There’s also a small EM (EEM/EUM) and TLT momentum sleeve.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, regime‑driven hedging and trend checks deliver a strong risk‑adjusted edge with low market beta. Calmar 4.15, beta ~0.43, ~25% annualized return, and controlled drawdowns vs SPY—capital protection with upside potential.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
