About

A fast, risk-on/risk-off rotator. It pits ETFs in short “drawdown duels” and rides the one holding up best. When markets run too hot, it flips into VIX “fear” funds or cash; when they cool, it leans into tech/semis. Falls back to steady stocks or KMLM/BTAL if shaky.
NutHow it works
Daily it: - Stages 11–12 day “duels” and owns the ETF that had the smallest recent drop. - Uses a heat gauge (RSI) on indexes/sectors: very hot → buy VIX “fear” funds or T‑bills; very cold → buy growth/tech (often 2x/3x). - If risk rises, shifts to a steady stock basket (LLY, NVO, COST, GE/PGR) or diversifiers like KMLM (managed futures) and BTAL. Also rotates semis/energy/utilities.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample upside potential: ~51% annualized versus the S&P’s ~28%, with a Calmar ~2.41 and proactive hedging. It targets alpha in regime shifts, but may exhibit larger drawdowns in stress.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
