About

A fast, daily‑rotating strategy that buys dips in high‑octane tech/semis/small‑caps during uptrends and quickly shifts to T‑bills, Treasuries, market‑neutral funds, or inverse ETFs when conditions sour. Signals use simple trend and “heat” (RSI) gauges. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Daily routine: 1) Trend check: is SPY above its recent average? 2) Heat check (RSI): a 0–100 score of how “hot/cold” the market is from recent up vs down days. If trend is up and heat is cool, it buys fast movers (e.g., TQQQ=3x Nasdaq, SOXL=3x semis). If heat is hot or trend weakens, it shifts to safety (BIL=T‑bills, TMF=long Treasuries, BTAL=market‑neutral) or goes short (SQQQ/SOXS). Rotates and rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 41.2% annualized return vs 28% for the S&P, Calmar 2.59, with risk hedges. Captures big uptrends in tech/semis via levered bets, rotates to safety when risk rises. Higher drawdowns/volatility, but upside potential exceeds the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
