About

A daily, risk-on/risk-off switch. If fear (UVXY) is rising, move to a defensive asset. If consumer cyclicals (UCC) are strengthening, ride the strongest 2–3x equity trend. Otherwise, sit in defensive/hedge funds like BTAL or SJB.
NutHow it works
Each day it reads two “thermometers.” RSI is a 0–100 score of recent up vs down days. 1) If UVXY (a fear/volatility fund) has stronger short‑term RSI than long‑term, it hides in one defensive pick with the smallest recent drop: BTAL, VBF, VDC, or 2x gold (UGL). 2) Else, if UCC (cyclicals) shows the same strength, it buys the single strongest 2–3x bull ETF (SPXL, TQQQ, ERX, CURE, UDOW, UTSL, WANT). 3) Otherwise it parks in BTAL or SJB.
CheckmarkValue prop
Adaptive daily-tactical strategy delivering higher upside than the S&P 500 in out-of-sample (35.66% vs 29.21% annualized) with a fear-driven risk-off switch; designed to ride strong trends while offering protection—yet it can experience larger drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
