About

A daily, rules-based switcher: chase strong tech/Nasdaq trends with leveraged ETFs, quickly de-risk or short during stress, and rotate into managed futures (KMLM) when tech falters. Adds dip-buys in niche areas and uses volatility/bond cues as guardrails.
NutHow it works
Daily, rules pick between: 1) riding tech/Nasdaq uptrends with leveraged ETFs (e.g., TQQQ/TECL), 2) hedging or going inverse (SQQQ/TECS/PSQ) when markets overheat or break down, 3) switching into managed futures (KMLM) when tech weakens. It also buys fast dips (biotech/China/real estate) and trims rips. Signals use simple trend and “hot/cold” checks.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: Sharpe ≈2.40 vs 2.32 for the S&P, Calmar ≈11.3, and an outsized return fueled by trend-following, hedges, and managed futures. Higher growth with built-in risk controls vs the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
