About

A daily, rules‑based “risk throttle” that buys 3x tech in healthy uptrends, hedges in weak/overheated markets, trades sector dips/pops, and shifts to managed‑futures when choppy. Very active and aggressive; uses many leveraged and volatility funds.
NutHow it works
Each day it asks: is the market hot or cold and trending up or down? - Hot/uptrend → ride high‑octane tech (TQQQ, TECL, SOXL). - Cold/down or too hot → hedge/short (SQQQ/PSQ/TECS) or use volatility (UVXY/VIXY). - Big sector swings → flip bull/bear pairs (YINN/YANG, LABU/LABD, DRN/DRV). - Choppy → hold managed futures (KMLM/DBMF) or T‑bills. Small sleeves use slow trends for gold/oil/gas.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers stronger risk-adjusted gains: Sharpe ~2.41 vs SPY ~2.37, Calmar ~10, and ~96% annualized return vs SPY ~28%. It hedges, rotates sectors, and uses managed futures to grow and defend.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
