About

A daily, rules‑driven swing strategy: fade overbought stock surges by buying volatility (UVXY), buy tech/semis on selloffs when bonds confirm (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL), and go defensive or inverse when risk rises. Very active and high risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it asks: Are stocks overheated or washed out, and what is the bond market saying? It uses RSI (a 0–100 “speedometer” of recent gains/losses) and trend checks. • Overheated: hedge by buying “fear” (UVXY). • Washed out + bonds supportive: buy aggressive tech/semis (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL). • Risk rising: park in cash/dividends or use inverse ETFs. It’s very aggressive and can swing a lot.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~24.13% annualized return vs SPY’s ~14.98%, with positive alpha and Calmar ~0.68. Higher upside in favorable regimes but larger drawdowns (~35% vs ~19%). Best for risk-tolerant, tactical allocators seeking big gains.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
