About

A daily, rules‑based, leveraged‑ETF strategy aiming to beat the S&P 500 with smaller worst losses. It buys 3x ‘dip’ candidates in calm uptrends, pivots to 3x Treasuries when rates fall, and uses volatility, shorts, USD or gold when risk rises.
NutHow it works
It blends three rules. 1) If stocks are calm and trending up, buy one 3x bull ETF (TECL/TQQQ/SOXL/UPRO/SPXL), picking the one that dipped most over 5 days (a buy‑the‑dip tilt). 2) Use the 20+yr Treasury trend: hold TMF when bonds rise (rates fall) or TMV when rates rise. 3) If risk jumps or prices look overheated, hedge with volatility (UVXY), shorts, USD or gold. Rebalances daily. RSI is a 0–100 “heat” gauge; MAs are trend lines.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets higher risk-adjusted gains vs. the S&P 500: OOS return ~80%, Sharpe ~1.33, Calmar ~2.32. It shifts to 3x LETFs on dips, Treasuries when rates fall, and volatility hedges for risk control.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
