About

Rules-based, tech‑led strategy that’s usually in a concentrated growth basket during uptrends, but flips into an inverse S&P 500 ETF (SH) around potential trend turns or bear‑market bounces to limit drawdowns.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks the S&P 500 fund (SPY) against its average price over time (200 days) to decide if the market is broadly healthy or not. In healthy uptrends it holds a concentrated, tech‑heavy growth mix (NVDA, MSFT, AMZN, ASML, META, TSM, NFLX, TW, GOOGL, plus QQQ). If trends look shaky or during downtrends with short‑term bounces, it temporarily switches to SH, a fund that goes up when the S&P 500 falls. If tech was hit recently (XLK down >2% in 10 days), it leans back into growth.
CheckmarkValue prop
Risk-aware, regime-switching strategy. Out-of-sample: ~17.5% annualized return vs SPY ~19.2%, with similar max drawdown (~18.7%). Uses trend signals and SH hedging to limit losses while pursuing tech-led growth—diversification vs SPY.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
