Rules-driven US strategy that rides uptrends with leveraged sector/size funds (tech, small/mid‑caps, energy, defense, real estate) and shifts to hedges (VIX, inverse ETFs, Treasuries, gold, T‑bills) when short‑term heat or trend signals turn unfavorable.

It asks two things over and over: (1) Is this area trending up (price above its average)? (2) Is it short‑term “too hot” or “too cold” (a heat gauge called RSI)? If trend is up and not too hot, it buys a high‑octane fund (e.g., TQQQ 3x tech; TNA/MIDU 3x small/mid‑caps; ERX 2x energy; DFEN 3x defense; DRN 3x real estate; UYM 2x materials). If not, it parks in hedges: VIX funds (VIXY/UVXY), inverse ETFs (like SQQQ), Treasuries (TLT/TMF), gold (GLD), or T‑bills (BIL/SHV). Many quick “stocks vs bonds” checks help pick offense vs defense.
