About

A rules-driven, risk-on/risk-off rotation that buys leveraged stock ETFs (tech, energy, defense, materials, small/mid caps) in uptrends and flips to hedges (inverse ETFs, volatility, Treasuries) when trends weaken or markets look overheated.
NutHow it works
It’s a rules-based “weather station.” • First, check trend with simple moving averages: are key ETFs in uptrends? • Then read RSI (0–100 speed-of-move) to avoid overheated entries and buy after pullbacks. • If risk-on: own “turbo” funds (TQQQ tech 3x, ERX energy 2x, DFEN defense 3x, UYM materials 2x, TNA/MIDU small/mid 3x). • If risk-off: switch to hedges (SQQQ/TZA, UVXY/VIXY) or long Treasuries (TMF/EDV/ZROZ). • Rising RINF (inflation) tilts toward energy/commodities; falling tilts toward Treasuries.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample tests show this risk-on/risk-off rotation with leveraged ETFs delivering higher risk-adjusted returns, smaller drawdowns, and stronger upside vs the S&P 500 by riding trends and hedging when markets turn risky.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
