A weekly strategy that splits between a tech/AI market-timing sleeve and a defensive sleeve in short-term bonds or volatility protection when markets look overheated or stressed.
NutHow it works
This strategy splits money into two halves. Half 1 tries to profit from tech stocks, mainly through QQQ (big Nasdaq stocks) and ARTY (an AI/robotics fund). It checks whether the stock market looks strong or weak, then may buy tech, buy a stronger short-term winner, or switch to defensive or opposite-position funds if tech looks overheated or falling fast. Half 2 is a “shock absorber.” It usually sits in short-term bonds or T-bills, but can buy VIXY, a fund that tends to rise when market fear jumps, if stocks look dangerously overheated or volatility starts spiking.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
