This strategy is an aggressive market-timer. It first asks: is the US stock market healthy or weak? If healthy, it usually buys leveraged tech funds, but if stocks look too overheated it can bet on a pullback instead. If the market looks weak, it becomes much more defensive, rotating among short-term bonds, long bonds, the US dollar, gold miners, or funds that rise when tech falls. It relies heavily on recent price behavior. One key tool is RSI, which is like a “heat gauge” for a stock or fund: very high means prices have run up fast, very low means they’ve dropped hard. The strategy uses that heat gauge to buy dips, avoid panic, and sometimes bet against markets after big surges.
