About

Rule‑based, tech‑tilted risk‑on/risk‑off system. Uses an S&P trend filter plus RSI to buy 3× Nasdaq/S&P on dips, flip short at overheated extremes, and rotate into bonds, Treasuries, the U.S. dollar, or gold miners when momentum weakens.
NutHow it works
First it checks if the S&P 500 is above its long‑term average (risk‑on) or below (risk‑off). It then uses RSI (a 0–100 “heat gauge” of recent ups vs downs) and moving averages. When price is very hot, it briefly flips to inverse funds; when very cold, it buys leveraged tech. Otherwise it rides uptrends with 3× Nasdaq/S&P funds and, if momentum fades, shifts to short‑term bonds, long Treasuries, the U.S. dollar, or gold miners. A buy‑the‑dip/sell‑the‑rip rule reacts to sharp 1–6‑day swings. Very volatile.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample upside ~72% annualized vs ~22% for the S&P, with Calmar ~1.77 and Sharpe ~1.26. A tech‑tilted risk-on/off rotation strategy aiming for durable gains, but with higher drawdowns and beta than the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
