About

Own Apple most of the time. If the market weakens, briefly switch: buy QQQ on extreme sell‑offs, or move to either an inverse QQQ fund (PSQ) or short‑term bonds (BSV) when tech is sliding. Daily checks, few trades, aim to sidestep big crashes.
NutHow it works
Daily check: • If the S&P 500’s short‑term average price (last ~1 month) is above its long‑term average (last ~10 months), own Apple 100%. • Otherwise: if the Nasdaq‑100 fund (QQQ) is very sold off (RSI<30), buy QQQ for a rebound. If QQQ is trending down (price below its ~1‑month average), hold whichever is stronger: PSQ (moves up when QQQ falls) or BSV (short‑term bonds). If QQQ is stable, go back to Apple. RSI is a 0–100 “stretched or not” gauge; below 30 = very sold off.
CheckmarkValue prop
Strong out-of-sample outperformance: ~25% annualized return vs ~19% for the S&P, lower market beta (~0.65), and solid risk-adjusted edge (Calmar ~1.14). Adaptive, low-turnover design aims to ride tech rallies while protecting on crashes.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
