About

Tech‑tilted rules that rotate among QQQ, PSQ, SHY, SPY, and QLD using long‑term trend, short‑term trend, and a stretched/washed‑out score (RSI) to ride uptrends, buy dips, and avoid chop.
NutHow it works
Uses five ETFs: QQQ (big US tech), SPY (S&P 500), PSQ (inverse QQQ), QLD (2x QQQ), SHY (short‑term Treasuries). If SPY is above its 200‑day average, hold QQQ—unless QQQ is very hot (RSI>81; RSI scores how stretched recent gains are), then hold PSQ. If not, and QQQ is washed out (RSI<30), buy QLD; else if SPY is washed out buy SPY; otherwise mix QQQ with PSQ/SHY based on QQQ vs its 20‑day average (+short averages): strength = more QQQ; weakness = more hedge.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this rules-based strategy offers ~33.4% annualized return vs SPY’s ~23.7%, with solid risk-adjusted metrics (Calmar ~1.32, Sharpe ~1.33). Tech-led upside with hedges; drawdowns can be larger in downturns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
