About
An aggressive Nasdaq strategy that uses leveraged upside in strong markets, buys sharp dips, and hedges with inverse Nasdaq or short-term Treasuries when conditions turn weak or choppy.
This strategy mostly bets on big U.S. growth stocks, especially the Nasdaq-100.
If the overall market looks healthy, it goes aggressively into QLD, a fund that aims to double the daily move of the Nasdaq-100. If that market looks too hot after a fast run-up, it temporarily flips into PSQ, which rises when the Nasdaq-100 falls.
If the broad market is weak, it first looks for “panic” selloffs that may bounce: it buys QLD when Nasdaq stocks look heavily sold off, or SPY when the wider U.S. market looks heavily sold off.
If there is no clear rebound setup, it enters an “anti-chop” mode. There it scales exposure up or down based on whether the Nasdaq is acting weak or strong over the last few days versus the last few weeks. Depending on conditions, it holds some mix of QQQ, PSQ, or SHY (short-term Treasury bonds). In simple terms: when strength is clear, it leans into stocks; when conditions are messy, it hedges or moves toward safety.
Out-of-sample: ~53% annualized return vs SPY ~23%, Calmar ~1.46—strong risk-adjusted gains. Expect higher drawdowns (~36% vs ~19%), but hedges and Nasdaq tilt target big upside in bulls and protection in choppy markets.
