About

Rides tech-led uptrends with leveraged QQQ, sidesteps pullbacks by briefly shorting or moving to Treasuries, and buys sharp dips using simple “heat” (RSI) and trend (moving averages) rules.
NutHow it works
Funds used: QQQ (Nasdaq‑100), QLD (2x QQQ), PSQ (−1x QQQ), SPY (S&P 500), SHY (1–3y Treasuries). Tools: RSI = a 0–100 “heat” meter; >80 very hot, <30 very cold. Moving average (MA) = average price line; above it = uptrend. If SPY is in an uptrend, hold QLD unless QQQ is very hot (then briefly flip to PSQ). If not, buy sharp dips (QLD or SPY), otherwise blend QQQ with PSQ/SHY using 4/6/20‑day MAs to avoid chop.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe ~1.53 vs SPY ~1.51; annualized return ~64% vs ~24%; Calmar ~1.77. Nasdaq-100 tilt with adaptive hedging (QLD/PSQ/SHY) seeks bigger tech upside while preserving risk-adjusted protection vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
