About
4-asset, fixed-weight allocation: 25% SPXL, 15% TQQQ, 40% UUP, 20% GLD; no automatic rebalancing; 21-day window; levered equity exposure with dollar and gold hedges; high volatility risk from leverage.
You allocate 100% of your capital across four funds: 25% SPXL (3x S&P 500), 15% TQQQ (3x Nasdaq-100), 40% UUP (US dollar index), and 20% GLD (gold). The plan uses a 21-day look-back window for potential signals, but it does not automatically rebalance. The 1% corridor is a threshold that would normally trigger rebalancing, but with rebalance set to none, you hold these weights unless you change the plan. In plain terms, you’re betting on rising US stocks (with leverage), while also betting on a stronger dollar and gold as hedges. Leveraged ETFs magnify daily moves, so returns can be volatile even if the long-term trend matches equity gains.
Out-of-sample annualized return ~29% vs S&P 500 ~17%; Sharpe ~1.20 vs ~0.95; Calmar ~1.15. Fixed 4-asset mix with levered equities and USD/gold hedges targets higher upside with hedges, but accepts larger drawdowns than SPY.
