It uses two tools: trendlines (moving averages) to see if prices are rising/falling, and a short‑term heat gauge (RSI) for overbought/oversold. In stock uptrends it holds tech (QQQ) unless things look overheated—then it hedges with volatility (VIXY). In downtrends it rotates among semis/tech, high‑beta stocks (SPHB), or a market‑neutral fund (BTAL). Bonds flip between long/short Treasuries (TMF/TMV). Commodities (DBC/XME, GLD, DBO, FCG/KOLD) only when trending; otherwise T‑bills (BIL).
