A symphony is an automated trading strategy — Learn more about symphonies here

About

A daily, regime-aware, high-octane trader. It uses a “hot/cold” meter (RSI), short-term returns, and bond/commodity cues to flip between 3x tech/semis, volatility (UVXY), inverse ETFs, or bond plays—usually choosing the most volatile option. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Every day it checks: 1) a “hot/cold” score (RSI: 0–100; >70–80 = stretched up, <30 = stretched down), 2) very recent returns, 3) stock/bond/commodity trends. • If stocks are too hot, it buys volatility (UVXY). • If they’re washed out and bonds agree, it buys 3x tech/semis (SOXL, TQQQ, TECL, UPRO). If bonds/commodities flash risk, it uses inverse ETFs (SQQQ/SOXS/SPXS) or TMF/TMV. It often picks the choice with the biggest recent swings (20‑day volatility). Very high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic regime-switching strategy targeting higher out-of-sample gains: 25.43%/yr vs S&P 21.24%, with beta ~0.58 and diversified tech/volatility/inverse exposure. Seeks bigger upside in swings, but accepts higher drawdown risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
