Each day, the strategy checks whether the overall market or major sectors have moved too far too fast over the last 10 days. If any area looks overheated, it buys VIXY, a fund that tends to rise when market fear jumps. If nothing is overheated but an area looks beaten down, it buys a high-powered fund that bets on a rebound in that market or sector. If neither happens, it parks in BIL, a cash-like Treasury bill fund.
