About

A tactical switch. In calm markets it parks in T‑bills. When fear or turbulence rises, it switches on: either shorting tech after big up days or going long high‑beta tech otherwise, paired with a small bond/volatility sleeve.
NutHow it works
- Sits in T‑bills most of the time. - When stress appears (big recent drop in leveraged Nasdaq, “fear” indexes heating up, or unusually choppy markets), it turns on. - If the last day was a huge up day, it bets against tech/semis; otherwise it rides them. - Adds a small stabilizer from bonds/vol funds. - Long mode also holds QQQ.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe 3.95 vs 2.55, drawdown ~0.17% vs 5.07%, Calmar ~72.8, and 12.5% annualized vs SPY’s 30.97%. Tactical risk management that protects capital in turbulence while preserving tech upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
