About

A daily, 100% allocation strategy that goes long QQQ unless QQQ’s 10-day RSI hits 80 or higher, in which case it moves to the inverse ETF PSQ.
NutHow it works
In plain language: Each day, you put all your money into one thing—either QQQ, which is a tech-heavy stock fund, or PSQ, which goes up when QQQ goes down. The choice is made by looking at QQQ’s momentum over the last 10 days. If that momentum value (RSI) is below 80, you buy and hold QQQ. If the momentum is 80 or higher, you switch to PSQ. The rule is checked every day and you move fully to the chosen asset.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 25.82% annualized return vs 17.86% for the S&P, Sharpe ~1.50, Calmar ~3.28. RSI(10) rule keeps you long QQQ unless momentum is extreme, then PSQ—strong upside with disciplined risk control.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
