About

All-in on QQQ unless QQQ’s 10‑day RSI is extremely high (80+). Then it flips to PSQ, an ETF that moves opposite QQQ, to bet on a short-term pullback. Checks daily and holds only one position at a time.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks QQQ’s 10‑day RSI—a 0–100 score of how “hot” recent price moves are (higher = more overheated). If RSI is below 80: invest 100% in QQQ (big tech like Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia). If RSI is 80 or higher: switch 100% to PSQ, which moves opposite QQQ. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~25.8% annualized return vs ~18% for the S&P 500, with a higher Sharpe (~1.50) and solid Calmar (~3.28). Simple, mostly long QQQ; rare PSQ shorts during overheated rallies—more upside, disciplined risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
