About

Aggressive, rule-driven rotation using leveraged tech, long/short Treasuries, gold/commodities, and the US dollar. Uses momentum and “overbought/oversold” signals to buy dips or defend with hedges. Seeks fast growth while capping big drawdowns.
NutHow it works
It’s a rules-based “switcher.” It checks if stocks look healthy, then either goes aggressive or defensive. - RSI is a simple 0–100 speedometer of recent gains; high=hot, low=cold. - When healthy: it buys strong tech or buys dips (TQQQ/SPXL/SOXL). If too hot, it briefly hedges with volatility (UVXY). - When weak or inflation/dollar lead: it shifts to long/short bonds (TMF/TMV), gold (GLD/UGL or miners), commodities (PDBC), the US dollar (USDU), or defensive funds. It gives more weight to the calmer pick to spread risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~25% annualized return with 0.96 Sharpe and 1.03 Calmar—roughly beating the S&P in the same window. A rules-driven mix of tech leverage, bonds, gold, and hedges aims for faster growth with disciplined risk (drawdowns ~24%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
