About

A very active, high‑risk “buy the dip” strategy in 3x tech/S&P/semis that hedges with volatility, Treasuries, gold, USD, or cash based on trend and bond signals; rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
Daily, it tries to “buy the dip” in 3x funds on tech (TQQQ), the S&P 500 (SPXL), and semis (SOXL). If they’ve fallen hard, it buys; if they look overheated, it briefly buys a fear fund (UVXY). Long‑term trend checks decide bull vs bear: in bull it owns leveraged tech/healthcare/utilities; in bear it can hold inverse tech (SQQQ) and safer mixes (Treasuries, gold, USD, T‑Bills). Position sizes are cut for choppier funds. Expect large swings.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy beats the S&P on upside and risk-adjusted returns: annualized ~44% vs ~21%, Sharpe ~1.36 vs ~1.32, Calmar ~1.91. Accepts larger drawdowns (~23% vs ~19%) for bigger long-run gains.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
