About

Daily, rules‑based swing strategy that rotates among 3x tech/semis, inverse ETFs, and volatility (UVXY), or parks in T‑Bills. It buys dips, fades overheated runs, and uses bond, dollar, and commodity trends to switch between risk‑on and defense.
NutHow it works
Each day it: - Checks long‑term Treasuries; if they trend up, it takes more risk; if down, it plays defense. - Uses a “heat meter” (RSI: 0–100) to buy dips (low) in 3x index/tech funds (TQQQ=Nasdaq‑100, TECL=tech, SOXL=semis, SPXL=S&P 500) and fade rips (high) with UVXY or inverse funds (SQQQ/SOXS/SPXS). - If signals are mixed, it holds T‑Bills (BIL/SGOV). - Dollar, commodities and rate trends (UUP/USDU, DBC/PDBC, TMF/TMV) fine‑tune risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets higher growth with disciplined risk: 38.8% annualized return vs SPY’s 20.8%, Calmar 1.54 vs ~1.11, and drawdown ~25% vs ~19%. It uses regime timing and volatility signals to capture tech/semis upside while defending in downturns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
