About

A tactical, gold‑centric plan: short gold when it looks overheated, buy leveraged gold/miners when washed‑out, fade big weekly spikes, and otherwise mix gold, the US dollar, and Bitcoin using a dollar‑strength signal. High risk/volatility.
NutHow it works
RSI (0–100) gauges how “hot” or “cold” recent price moves are; >77=overheated, <33=washed‑out. 1) Check gold (GLD) RSI: if >77, use inverse 2x gold/miners (GLL, JDST). If <33, use bullish 2x gold/miners (UGL, NUGT). 2) Else, if gold jumped >6.5% in 7 days, short (GLL, JDST). 3) Else, check the US dollar (UUP) RSI: if >36, hold GLD (gold), UUP (dollar), GBTC (Bitcoin); otherwise hold JDST + GBTC. Equal weights.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~34.9% annualized return vs 20.2% for the S&P; Calmar ~1.65; beta ~0.22 for diversification; max drawdown ~21.1% vs ~18.8% SPY. Higher upside with diversification, though drawdowns can be larger.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
