About

Stay 100% in QQQ by default. If a short‑term heat gauge (10‑day RSI of leveraged TQQQ) is extremely hot (>81), switch 100% to VXX to bet on a near‑term volatility spike.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks TQQQ, a 3x version of the Nasdaq‑100 fund, as a heat gauge. It uses a 10‑day RSI (a 0–100 score of how fast price has risen vs fallen). If RSI > 81 (very hot), it moves 100% into VXX, a note that usually jumps when stocks drop. Otherwise it holds QQQ, a fund of the biggest Nasdaq stocks (Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, etc.). No routine rebalancing; it only switches when the signal flips.
CheckmarkValue prop
RSI-driven Nasdaq overlay: ride QQQ by default, flip to VXX during heat. Out-of-sample: ~26.6% annualized vs ~18.9% S&P; Sharpe ≈1.19, Calmar ≈1.17. Higher upside with disciplined risk management.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
