About

Rules-based portfolio split into bonds, a tactical Nasdaq sleeve, and a small cross‑asset momentum sleeve. Rides QQQ/TQQQ in uptrends, flips to PSQ/SQQQ on danger signs. Bonds tilt between BND and the U.S. dollar. Uses trend and hot/cold signals to manage risk.
NutHow it works
Split: Bonds 53%, Nasdaq 30%, Commodities 17%. Bonds: own BND (US bonds) when its price trend is rising on multiple timeframes; otherwise USDU (long U.S. dollar). Nasdaq: usually long QQQ (or 3× TQQQ) but flips to PSQ/SQQQ when markets are too hot or breaking down; buys dips only if bonds agree. It reads trend vs averages, hot/cold readings, fear spikes, and commodity volatility. Commodities: hold the 2 strongest over ~4 months among SPY (S&P 500), TLT (long Treasuries), GDX (gold miners), PDBC (commodities, no K‑1), FLOT.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: higher risk-adjusted return (Sharpe ~1.74 vs ~1.39), far lower drawdown (7.1% vs 18.8%), and lower beta, with attractive upside - a smarter, risk-aware alternative to the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
