About

A rule-based, daily-rebalanced portfolio that rides stock uptrends (often tech) but rapidly shifts to Treasuries, cash, market‑neutral BTAL, managed futures (KMLM), gold, or inverse funds when markets overheat or crack. Seeks growth with drawdown control.
NutHow it works
It’s a rules-based, daily‑rebalanced mix of stock, bond, and hedge sleeves. It checks trends (price vs its average), a hot/cold meter called RSI (0–100), and the “fear gauge” (VIX). In calm uptrends it leans into tech and sometimes 2–3x funds; when markets overheat or fear rises, it shifts to Treasuries, cash‑like T‑bills, market‑neutral BTAL, gold, managed futures (KMLM), or even inverse funds.
CheckmarkValue prop
An adaptive, rules-based mix that rides growth but hedges on risk. In out-of-sample tests it cut drawdowns to ~8% (vs ~19% S&P) and delivered solid risk-adjusted returns (Calmar ~1.80) with comparable Sharpe, for steadier gains.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
