About

A high‑risk, daily system that mostly flips between SVXY (betting on calm markets) and UVXY (betting on a volatility spike), with occasional buys of oversold 3x stock funds like SOXL/SPXL/TQQQ. Uses simple “hot/cold” signals. Very volatile and timing‑sensitive.
NutHow it works
Daily, it checks short‑term “hot/cold” readings (RSI) on many stock funds. If certain 3x funds look very beaten‑down (RSI<~30), it buys them for a bounce. If several markets look overheated (RSI>~80), it flips into UVXY (a bet on fear rising). Otherwise it sits in SVXY (a bet on calm).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return 36.98% vs SPY 33.82%, Calmar ~3.13. A tactical, volatility-aware strategy that rides calm markets (SVXY) and spikes in volatility (UVXY) for potentially higher upside, with disciplined drawdown control.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
