About

All-in on SVIX (bets on calm markets) unless a 4‑day 10% drop in SVXY triggers a switch to BIL (T‑bills). Rebalanced daily. Extremely risky—can suffer large losses before it moves to safety.
NutHow it works
Each day, it checks a warning light: did a “milder” inverse‑volatility fund (SVXY) drop more than 10% from a recent high in the last 4 days? If yes, it parks in BIL (T‑bills). If no, it holds SVIX, which goes up when market fear (VIX futures) falls. SVIX = very risky inverse VIX futures. SVXY = tamer version used for the warning. BIL = short‑term U.S. T‑bills.
CheckmarkValue prop
Volatility-driven sleeve: harvests calm-market SVIX carry, switches to cash on spikes, and acts as a rule-based diversifier to the S&P. Out-of-sample: ~17.4% annualized return with a built-in risk-off switch, not a pure equity bet.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
