About

Daily, rules-based, trend-first portfolio across four sleeves. It rotates among stock index funds (often leveraged), Treasuries, metals, or hedges, with small contrarian bets in defensive names. High risk and turnover due to leveraged funds.
NutHow it works
The portfolio has four equal sleeves. 1) It first checks if the market is in an uptrend (price above its 200-day average, a simple trend line). If yes, it picks the 2 strongest ideas from stock indexes (often 2x funds), Treasuries, metals, or cash-like bonds. 2) If not, it looks for oversold bounces; otherwise uses the Nasdaq’s short-term trend to go aggressive, blend growth/defense/income/metals, or shift to hedges (volatility/short funds). RSI = a quick hot/cold score of recent moves.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe 4.39 vs 2.29, annualized return 69% vs 28%, max drawdown 3.5% vs 5.1%. A four-sleeve, leveraged, rule-based rotation designed for higher growth with tighter downside than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
