About

A 50/50 blend of simple rule sets that ride tech-led uptrends (QQQ/SPYG/XLK) and quickly rotate to Treasuries or inverse ETFs (SH/PSQ) when trends weaken or markets get “washed out,” using moving averages and a short-term stress gauge (RSI).
NutHow it works
It blends two rule sets 50/50 and switches among a few ETFs using simple signals. - Trend: price vs its 200-, 25-, or 20-day average (above = uptrend; below = downtrend). - Stress (RSI): a 0–100 gauge of recent losses/gains; below 30 = “washed out.” In uptrends it owns growth/tech (QQQ, SPYG, XLK). When trends weaken or stress rises, it rotates to defense: Treasuries (TLT/IEF/SHY/BSV) or inverse funds that rise when markets fall (SH/PSQ).
CheckmarkValue prop
An out-of-sample, tech-tilted blend that outperforms the S&P 500: 30.8% annualized vs 22.5%, Sharpe 1.41 vs 1.30, Calmar ~1.97, max drawdown 15.6% vs 18.8%, with near-market beta and dynamic hedging for superior risk-adjusted returns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
