An aggressive market-timing strategy that usually holds a concentrated tech/growth basket, but switches to a bearish Nasdaq fund when tech looks too hot and to leveraged biotech when tech looks deeply sold off.

This strategy watches the Nasdaq-100 through QQQ. If tech looks very overheated, it bets against it with SQQQ. If tech looks heavily sold off, it may buy LABU, a very aggressive biotech fund, for a rebound. Otherwise it owns an equal mix of TQQQ plus big growth names like Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Nvidia, AMD, Tesla, and TSM. It uses simple price rules: recent % moves and RSI, which is a 0–100 “hot or cold” gauge of recent trading.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
