About

A 1990s‑themed, multi‑strategy portfolio that regularly owns the 3 best recent performers among several stock baskets, tilting toward the steadier ones. It holds big US stocks and can switch to SPY/QQQ or a bond fund (VBF) when markets look hot or jumpy.
NutHow it works
It keeps several mini‑portfolios (1990–1999 themes). It ranks them by 30‑day gains and picks the top 3, then gives more money to the calmer ones (lower volatility). Inside: some buy sturdy blue‑chips that just fell (low RSI = “cold”), others ride old‑tech winners (trend), and some switch between SPY/QQQ and a bond fund (VBF) when the market looks overheated (high RSI) or jumpy (high volatility).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample Sharpe ~3.41 vs S&P ~0.71; Calmar ~32; drawdown ~4.38% vs ~4.49%. A diversified, volatility-targeted multi-sleeve strategy that tilts to calmer bets and bonds in turbulence—delivering stronger, more resilient gains than the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
