About

A daily, single-stock pick from four mega-cap tech names (NVDA, MSFT, GOOG, AAPL) based on 1-day price moves. If any stock falls at least 2% today, buy the worst performer that meets that condition; if none do, buy the cheapest stock among the four. Cash is held equally for the remainder.
NutHow it works
- Daily process picks one stock from four big tech names: NVDA, MSFT, GOOG, AAPL. - For each stock, compute the 1-day price change (roughly today’s move). The algorithm then ranks these by the worst move (the lowest 1-day return). - It checks stocks in a sequence: if NVDA’s 1-day return is less than -2%, buy NVDA. If not, check MSFT; if MSFT’s 1-day return is less than -2%, buy MSFT. If not, check GOOG with the same condition; if not, check AAPL. - If any stock meets the “down ≥ 2% today” condition, the strategy buys the first one that meets it based on the sequence above (i.e., the worst among those meeting the threshold or the first in the chain). - If none of the four dropped by at least 2% today, the strategy instead buys the stock with the lowest current price among the four. - The remaining holdings (if any) are kept in cash with an equal weighting scheme (wt-cash-equal). - Rebalance frequency is daily. - The apparent intent is tactical: buy after a meaningful one-day drop or, if no such drop exists, purchase the cheapest among the four. - Note: The label references a 52-week low, but the logic shown relies on 1-day returns and price levels rather than explicit 52-week low checks.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
