About

A complex, rule-based tactical mix: safety sleeves (GLD/SHV and BIL), tech/semis momentum with levers, bear-market hedges, and an aggressive “Holy Grail” core. About half in cash (BIL) and half spread across leveraged tech and hedges, guided by moving averages, RSI, and momentum signals to tilt exposure while aiming to limit drawdown.
NutHow it works
Think of this as a decision tree that splits money into several sleeves. One sleeve aims for safety (GLD or SHV) when the market trend isn’t strong, another sleeve chases tech/semis using momentum signals (QQQ, QLD, TQQQ, SOXL) with occasional hedges (SQQQ, PSQ) if momentum looks weak. A separate bear-market module uses hedges and inverse/short ETFs to limit losses. There’s a highly aggressive core (“Holy Grail”) that blends volatility, leverage, and momentum signals (UVXY, TQQQ, SQQQ, QLD, SOXL, SOXS) to capture rapid moves. A cash sleeve (BIL) keeps half the portfolio safe. Weights are allocated within each sleeve and then combined. Rebalancing is set to none, so changes come only from rule-triggered selections and fixed weights. In short: the system tries to ride rallies in tech/semis when trend momentum supports it, while leaning on gold, Treasuries, and cash when risk rises, with a safety net of hedges if things get messy.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
