About

All-in 3x big‑tech (TQQQ) when bonds and high‑yield credit look healthy; otherwise hold the recent leader among Treasuries (IEF), gold (GLD), or the US dollar (UUP). Single-position, trend-based risk-on/risk-off switch.
NutHow it works
1) Check if bonds (BND) beat cash-like T‑bills (BIL) over 60 days. If not, hold the strongest of IEF (7–10y Treasuries), GLD (gold), or UUP (US dollar) by 45‑day return. 2) If bonds win, check junk bonds (HYG): if they’re OK (>‑2% over 45d or flat/up over 2d), go all‑in TQQQ (3x Nasdaq‑100 big tech). Otherwise use the same defensive pick. Holds one asset at a time.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~29.3% annualized vs ~23.6% S&P, driven by 3x Nasdaq-100 in strong regimes with risk-off gates when bonds underperform. Higher upside, built-in downside controls.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
