About

A daily 5‑block rotator that buys leveraged tech on dips, holds QQQ/SPY in uptrends, and shifts to gold/treasuries/managed‑futures/cash when weak, with brief volatility hedges when markets look overheated.
NutHow it works
Five slices (30/30/20/10/10), rebalanced daily. It shifts risk using two cues: RSI (a short‑term “hot/cold” score from 0–100) and moving‑average trend lines. - Cold (RSI ≲30): buy leveraged stock ETFs TQQQ/TECL/SPXL/SOXL (buy‑the‑dip). - Hot (RSI ≳80): buy volatility UVIX/UVXY (hedge). - Else: if trend is up, hold QQQ/SPY; if not, hold defensives GLD (gold), IEI/ZROZ (Treasuries), KMLM (managed‑futures), BIL (T‑bills). Leveraged/vol funds are high‑risk and used briefly.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: -53% annualized return and -6.53% max drawdown vs SPY’s +13.8% and 2.59% drawdown. Hedged, multi-asset design targets risk control, but current data favor SPY as core exposure.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
