About
A stock-focused strategy that owns 6 companies and, after a strong 10-day surge in any one of them, shifts a small slice into VOO as a simple profit-taking and diversification step.
This strategy mostly holds 6 stocks: Griffon, Microsoft, Air Products, Fiserv, NVIDIA, and GE.
Every day, it checks whether each stock has risen very quickly over the last 10 trading days. If it has, the strategy trims a small piece of that stock and moves that piece into VOO, a fund that tracks the S&P 500.
If not, it keeps that stock at full weight. In simple terms: it takes a little profit after sharp short-term jumps, but still stays mostly invested in the same stocks.
Rule-based six-stock strategy trims surges into VOO, keeps core bets, and adds diversification. OOS: 12.4% annualized return, Sharpe 0.68, Calmar 0.85, max drawdown 14.5%—a disciplined, diversified path versus SPY.
