About

A rules-based, daily trader. When markets look overheated, it buys VIX funds to play a pullback; when they look washed out, it buys 3x tech/semis for a rebound. If no edge, it holds T‑bills. Includes crash hedges and a tiny Bitcoin sleeve.
NutHow it works
It’s a daily switchboard. It checks if big stock indexes (like SPY/QQQ) or sectors look “hot” or “cold” using RSI (0–100 gauge of recent momentum). If very hot (80+), it buys “fear” funds (VIX ETFs) that often pop on pullbacks. If very cold (~30 or less), it buys 3x bull tech/semis to catch rebounds. Otherwise it parks in T‑bills. Extra sleeves handle crash spikes, sector signals, and a tiny Bitcoin on/off switch.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe 3.42 vs SPY, Calmar 7.72, max drawdown 1.47% vs ~5%, positive alpha. Higher risk-adjusted returns and volatility resilience, with targeted bets for upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
