About

Daily mean‑reversion switch: if Nasdaq looks weak, go all‑in on leveraged tech (TQQQ) for a bounce; otherwise sit in one defensive asset (consumer staples or bonds), choosing the one that’s more oversold. Very concentrated and volatile.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks QQQ (a big Nasdaq tech fund) using a 0–100 “recent strength” score called RSI. If QQQ’s 30‑day RSI is under 40 (recently weak), it buys TQQQ (a 3× version of QQQ) to bet on a rebound. Otherwise it holds one defensive choice—XLP (consumer‑staples stocks) or VBF (investment‑grade bonds)—whichever has the lower 10‑day RSI (more beaten down). Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Nearly the same long-run return as the S&P (≈34.5% vs 35.8%), but with a disciplined regime approach: leverage Nasdaq rebounds via TQQQ and rotate to beaten-down defensives. Calmar ≈ 1.5 signals solid risk-adjusted upside despite drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
